2FA may show both positive and negative impacts on user experience. The challenge with using the technology lies in the necessity to complicate the login process, which makes it less convenient for users. Yet, we consider the positive influence of implementing 2FA way more significant, as the potential losses from deactivating the second layer of security may cause more severe consequences, including financial ones, compared to the small inconveniences of obligatory OTP input.
The use of 2FA enhances security, which is an obvious advantage. Having a high level of security has a direct impact on a user's confidence in a company's reliability and trustworthiness in handling their sensitive data and financial details.
