National Sender ID: Alfa Dynamic
International Sender ID: Random Short Numeric
Alpha Sender ID (Domestic Clients Only)
In India, pre-registration is required before using a specific alpha Sender ID for sending traffic. The alpha sender ID must be 6 letters long, and you need to provide SMS examples (minimum 25k SMS per month).
This Sender ID will be used as frequently as possible, but a significant portion of traffic will still be overwritten to ensure delivery. Due to recent regulatory changes, the alpha Sender ID will be prefixed with 2 letters depending on the carrier used to deliver the SMS to the final operator, or more commonly, with a random number (e.g., MD-XXXXXX, where XXXXXX is the registered Sender ID).
Any unregistered sender ID will be overwritten with a local shortcode as required by Indian regulations, regardless of whether the destination number is registered on the NDNC list or not.
SID for International Clients:
For international customers, SID is not supported and will be replaced with a random short code. There are no restrictions for OTP messages, but restrictions still apply for promotional traffic.
